New York, NY – Mayor and Congressman Clash on Police at Protests

New York, NY – Mayor Michael Bloomberg says a New York congressman should spend his time getting the city more federal funds rather than calling for the government to investigate the police crackdown on the Occupy Wall Street camp.

Earlier this week, U.S. Rep. Jerrold Nadler urged Attorney General Eric Holder to launch a probe into allegations of excessive force used by NYPD officers against Occupy protesters in Zuccotti Park last month.

The mayor issued a statement Thursday calling Nadler’s position “ridiculous.”

Bloomberg says the Democrat should work, instead, on getting more government money to “make the streets safer” — or to improve schools.

The mayor says New York police action is not a federal issue.

Last month, police in riot gear cleared the park of protesters, arresting hundreds of people.

This is a time when I do agree with the position of Mayor Bloomberg. Is Rep Nadler so in need of getting his name in the papers that he is taking on such a foolish position…shameful.

To me it dosnt matter what blumberg says and how much sense it makes. Something coming from his mouth has no meaning and no value. He is a disgraced and arrogant self hating jew. He has violated our rights and values since he took over the office. He dosnt care the least about the well being of his constituants.

A mayor is not above the law. NYPD is not above the law. But, this moran has crossed the line.

We should never commend him on anything he does even if it appears to favor us.

Jerry nadler has never been on the right side of anything. He is a die hard liberal and will do anything to advance the liberal and socialist causes. He is a disgrace and hopefully Boro Park will not be jerrymandered in the reapportionment and will be able to get a decent America loving Congressman rather than this total disgrace.

Bloomberg is Putin in a suit. Oh I forgot Putin wears a suit as well.

Either way, today its the Occupiers tomorrow its the you. Police have way too much power and use too much force without any oversight.
