Perhaps the saddest aspect of this news is that it no longer surprises me.

The sad part is that these cases always include mulitple counts (in his case 30!) after one abuse he should have been reported, but b’h it was reported altogether!

We all owe a big thank you to Dr Asher Lipner, it was the conference he arranged in 2009 that brought so many frum therapists together, and played a huge part in bringing out this issue in our communities, which led to today where even Rabbi’s are no longer being tolerant of the sexual abusers in our midst.

As american law and halachic law indicates innocent until proven guilty… Its only one case (one person) and there was doubts from day one (not saying anything and I strongly believe that this people should be punished, but there was stories before where victim (not real) made up stories for their own benefits)

I sure hope he is innocent. There are a lot of worried parents tonight in Monsey about this. As for #1 regarding consulting a rav, if there are allegations, the public should know to keep their kids away from him until he is cleared if he is not guilty especially with a guy who is around kids alot.

I promise that anyone who has ever been closly involved with a case of a person being falsly accused of molestation & then being arrested & having to go through the hell AKA the booking – bail process , wouldn’t be so trigger happy to convict a person being accused.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!wait for some facts before you lynch this guy , if it turns out he is guilty, I will be the first to tar & feather him , but till then hold your horses….

It bleeds my heart to hear how (seemingly) yiddin jump in excitement when another yid is sick! if this man did do it, it should cause sleepless nights for all of us rather than the “I knew it” or “you see, yiddin are just as bad as gentiles” or “I told you so” or “There are many more” (‘these ………… yiddin”).

Just as another point, Yes we are yiddin first! We do do everything al daas torah! Yes We must present every problem related to our torah to a rav. Just as a eye opener to all rabbi haters, (you definitely didn’t go to all the ravs and you still label them all “they will never be matir”) I do know of 3 stories where nebach a yid was sick, the nebach kids father went to a rav and they got a hetter right away! (actually the rav called them afterwards to ensure they did contact the authorities immediately!) Sooo all these rants, are bogus! Obviously not in every instance would this rav be mattir to be mosur, they listen to the whole story, when they feel that it’s not totally rubbish, or that there is a possibility, they were matir! But they decided if there was any basis to the claim based on the evidence!
