In hopes of righting his now-foundering campaign, Gingrich bashed Bloomberg’s deep pockets as he played up his own humble roots to a working class crowd in Mason City, Iowa.

“We don’t come out of a background where we can buy a seat or buy, as Mayor Bloomberg did, buy the mayorship of New York,” Gingrich quipped, according to CBS News.

“I mean if you look at how much he spent, he just wrote a check and bought it,” Gingrich added.

The mayor’s office had no comment last night.

It is the truth… I doubt whether it will matter to the voters in Iowa.

Oh pa-leaze! (lol) Now if this isn’t a huge case of the pot calling the kettle black, then I don’t know WHAT is!

Newt has some gall to call out Mayor Bloomberg over “buying is way into politics” considering everything that HE has done in his professional career! Ethics violations, subpoenas, being thrown out of office by his OWN political colleagues, and the list goes on & on!

Does Mayor Bloomberg have that kind of reputation? Are people dropping like flies from his staff, because he is impossible to work with? Is he being brought up on ethics charges, is he cheating on his wife for the umpteenth time, or embarrassing his political party?

If not Newtie… then you got NOTHING TO SAY about Bloomberg! >[:-P

This is just a cry for some Christian conservative, Tea-Party attention… to mask the fact that your campaign is a joke, you couldn’t even be organized enough to get on the ballot in your HOME STATE, everyone who has ever worked w\you wants NOTHING to do w\your candidacy, and your own personal life went down the drain years ago!

Just go away already! Just do what you’re best at: Go on another vacation to the Greek Isles, take your wife to Tiffany’s, have lunch w\Trump!

Newt your history. there is not enough money that can get you into office. Bloomberg didn’t make is fortune the way you did by ‘advising’ Freddy mac and the other tricks politicians have.

If Gingrich expects to right his presidential bid by commenting on Bloomberg buying the NYC mayorship then he’s ‘taake oif tzoras’.

The remark by Gingrich was a stupid and inaccurate statement. All it will serve to do, is to create anti-semitism in Iowa, where there are few Yidden. Someone’s money cannot buy individual votes. According to Gingrich, the hundreds of thousands of voters who voted for Bloomberg in in NYC, in 2001, 2005, and 2009 were all paid off! However, the voters were free to make up their own minds, as to whom to vote for, or vote against. Would Gingrich have stated that Kennedy bought his election in 1960? Of course not, since the name BLOOMBERG, vs. Kennedy, seems to resonate better in the negative sense, amoung voters in Iowa.

    B. Hussein Obama is going to lose the election next November, and (since there is no chance Ron Paul will win) the country will be saved.

Too bad, Obamabots. Have a nice day.
