Bus, Van, Truck Crash in Queens

An MTA city bus, a van, and a Goya delivery tractor-trailer all collided in Queens Village Friday December 10 2010 injuring several people and creating a traffic nightmare, authorities said. The FDNY said that the truck ended up titled and pushed up against a building at Hillside Avenue and Hollis Court Boulevard. Witnesses said that the tractor-trailer lost control coming down a ramp from the Clearview Expressway. The MTA said that a Q43 bus was involved in the crash, which happened just before 2 p.m. Fire officials said that at least six people were hurt, but not seriously. Medics took at least three people to North Shore LIJ hospital.
