Manhattan, NY – US President Barack Obama told Jewish donors on Thursday that Washington’s commitment to Israel’s security does not amount only to military aid and said that it must help Israel achieve lasting peace in the region.

Obama claimed that recent changes in the Middle East warrant consideration in the tendencies of the Arab peoples who for years have been exposed to anti-Semitic and anti-Israel rhetoric.
That’s right. What are the Arabs doing about stopping the anti semitic/anti Jewish rhetoric? That would be a good first step but so far hasn’t been a major concern.
There is no peace without respect and security.
Hope here in ny from the wealty ppl who will meet up. Should remind obama to let loose. Jonatan Polard
The question is….what is Obama’s view of what the price of peace will be. Peace at any price surrounded by millions of haters isn’t going to work. Anyhow he is running for re-election, what else is he going to say if he wants support from American Jews and any others comitted to Israels survival.
He has to say some things so he won’t sound too one sided for Israel. Let’s hope he doesn’t start to believe those ideas.
GW Bush spoke so often about the great peaceful religion of Islam that was hijacked by A FEW fanatics that he started to believe it.
