Florida – Republican Party chairman Lenny Curry and the GOP’s chair of its Jewish Leadership Council apparently can’t wait for the Passover holiday.

The GOP released a statement Friday from Jeffrey Feingold on behalf of Curry and Gov. Rick Scott “to wish everyone a happy and healthy pesach” – the Yiddish term for Passover.
Fifteen minutes later the state Republican Party issued another statement – albeit quite brief – noting it had erroneously released the message early, claiming they were aware the Passover holiday doesn’t begin until sundown April 6 – two weeks from now.
Republicans are hoping for more support from Jewish voters in the November general election. President Barack Obama won nearly four of every five Jewish votes in Florida in his decisive 2008 victory.
Nuthin wrong w that
I don’t think it’s that big a deal. Nothing that a little makeup and plastic surgery can’t fix.
Pesach is HEBREW not Yiddish
Don’t know, but they were all over president obama when he made chanukah a little early. I guess republicans can do what they want and its only a mistake!!!
Gee whiz… how sad is it when you can’t even get your cheap, propagandist pandering right?
No surprise to see this from one of the two big parties. They’re all so out of touch…. it’s pathetic.
Sounds like when George Bush I made a “Remember Pearl Harbor” remark to a veterans’ group on September 7.
They innocently didn’t finish the Haggada: “yachol me’rosh chodesh, talmud lomar…”
They do things earlier in Florida…”Early-bird dinners”, “Early-bird Sedorim” etc…They are simply trying to stay with their constituents
How about when Obama was speaking at a Memorial Day event & his trusty teleprompter told him to say, “On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.”
He sees dead people!!!
Yochol m’rosh chodesh……
