The official said Saturday that Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner is being investigated by military police and can still face further punishment.

He spoke on condition of anonymity due to military protocol.

The Israeli military did not have information on his reassignment.

The military dismissed Eisner from his post as a deputy division commander after footage of him striking a pro-Palestinian activist made headlines.

The military punished him by canceling his scheduled command position at the officers academy. He was also banned from command posts for two years.

This is why chareidim don’t join the IDF. Full of these liberals who punish and put down good soldiers defending the country.

#1 – That’s not why they don’t join. Are you even serious? They dont join b/c that would mean they have the contribute something to the world instead of just milking it for all its got.

Stupid decision by the IDF. Amazing how they never fail to bend over backwards in an attempt to fight their adversaries in PC mode. Talk about shooting themselves in the foot.

Are you kidding? Did you see what this behaima did? Watch the video. People like him give the IDF a bad name. He is a prefect example of a punk who would be in jail if he was not in the army. In the army he gets a weapon and is elevated to a position of power where he is free to express his aggression with impunity. He should have been dismissed from the army entirely.

This soldier is a hero and a model of a patriot.
PC has no place in a country surrounded by a world of enemies and haters.
