According to reports in Israeli and Turkish media, a , known as the European Bee-Eater, was found dead with a ring that read “Israel” around one of its legs. It is common practice for birds to be marked with their country of origin in order for scientists to track migration routes but authorities became suspicious due to what they said were enlarged nostrils on the bird.

“Yoav Pearlman, of the Israeli Birdwatching Center, explained that Israel’s north is home to a large bee-eater population, and that many more use Israel as a stop in their migration route, which includes Turkey, southern Europe and Russia,” writes Ynet in Israel.

“The Turkish authorities can rest easy – it’s not a spy,” Pearlman told the paper.

Dang. Now the Israelis will have to come up with an even stealthier surveillance technology. I know, the bees the birds eat will be bugged – wait, is that a pun??

Using birds would be clever. However this one is obviously not a spy . Why in the world would they put the name of Israel on it if it was.

Let’s see now: we’ve already heard about the spy sharks in Egypt, spy vultures in Saudi Arabis, remote controlled pigs to destroy Palestinian crops, why not a spy bird as well?
These Arabian countries have lost all sense of reality.

maybe the bird is someones pet & named it Israel?!?

Yes, the bird went to the same spy school as the shark that was spying on Egypt!

Of course it’s got enlarged nostrils, it’s a Jewish bird.

The U> S> tags rare birds as well. Does that make our birds spies? Check with U. S. Fish & Wildlife. All endangered species — Crocs, alligators, some of our bears, polars, even some fish, Does that make them spies? It checks the migration patterns and the ages!!

Apparently, the disinformation is working perfectly! Let them think that Israel is capable of anything. Lol

Elmo needs to check Big Birds leg to see if he has a similar tag. I always suspected Israel having a spy on Sesame Street but I just wasn’t sure who it was. If they can confirm it, I would stay away from Oscar. I’m 99% sure he’s really Al Qaeda and he’s stashed a bomb in his garbage can.

Well, as for me I think the Turks should investigate this thoroughly and hire Iranian and Syrian scientists (maybe the French too). Checking the bird out would keep them quite busy and then maybe the Syrian population can live and the Iranians will forget about their nuclear capabilities(??). Oh Brother !!!!

The bird in the picture accompanying the original story bears a leg band clearly saying “LONDON”. Perhaps it came from Stamford Hill?

You’d think a country named Turkey would know something about birds.

They found a turkey in Israel…must be a spy for…Turkey.

Is it any crazier than the Kiryas Joel talking carp? The cry that always arises when a yid does something wrong that “It’s goyim in disguise trying to make Jews look bad”? The dead Rebbe sitting in his chair in 770 wearing the Emperor’s New Clothes? The belief that the President was born in Africa?

Any group is capable of stupid beliefs.
