New York – Classic comedian Jackie Mason ripped President Obama’s reported remarks that he “probably knows about Judaism more than any other president, because he read about it.”

Obama reportedly made the statement in a meeting last week with about 20 conservative Jewish community leaders.
Mason, who bills himself as the “Ultimate Jew,” sounded off about Obama’s Judaism claim in an interview today on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio.
Stated Mason: “Let’s say I know more about murderers than anybody in the world. Does that make me sympathetic to murderers because I know more about them than anybody else?
“If you live in New York, you know more about muggers and killers and degenerates and pimps at hookers,” Mason continued. “Does that mean that you are on their side just because you know about it?”
Mason asserted “What he knows about Judaism means nothing compared to what he feels about Judaism. That’s the question. I might know a lot about pastrami. That doesn’t mean that I have the right to neglect the fact that it’s bad for you.”
The funny man also took aim at Obama’s Christianity during the segment with Klein, speaking tongue-in-cheek: “And he also knows more about the Palestinians than the Jews. Because everybody knows he was raised as a Muslim and his conversion to Christianity was a very slow process. It was only when he started thinking about the political career he might have in America and he was thinking about his future that he became more and more of a Christian. As he found out a job was opening in Chicago, he became more of a Christian. And when a job was opening in the United States Senate, he became a complete Christian, and now he is the most devoted Christian of all time.”
Mason’s outdated hateful and crude humor has no place on VIN or any other legitimate website….By engaging in gutter talk with a few words of yiddish thrown in for a heimeshe audience, you don’t take the slime out of the slimeball.
I never liked or felt Jackie Mason’s comedy to be appropriate, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. On this subject he’s got it.right.
Jackie Mason says it the way it is. Everybody tiptoes around Hussein Obama and are afraid to say the truth about him. Hopefully, Mitt Romney will not.

Give Obama credit. He knows enough to kosher the White House. How far back does that go? But funny comment to Jackie Mason. I really think that if you hang out with the conservative rabbis, you truly will only know the pastrami and bagels of Judaism.

I think that each of us is smart enough to make our own decisions about whom we want to vote for. We don’t need advice from celebrities, comedians, actors, rock stars, athletes, etc., . Just because they are famous, successful or rich , does not necessarily make them intelligent, or intelligent enough to offer us advice.
He really seems like a mean old man.

It’s pathetic how the groisse Yidden here are celebrate Jackie Mason because he makes some insulting — and ignorant — remarks about Obama. This is a Jew you’re proud of? He’s a man who fathered a daughter out of wedlock and denied it until he was forced to take a DNA test. A man who’s married to his manager but lives with an Asian girlfriend (as was recently highlighted in the media after a domestic altercation). I saw this menuvel on TV several years ago with the owner of either the Carnegie or Stage Deli (I don’t remember which) who presented him with a sandwich named in his honor. Treif meat and cheese. Jackie took a big bite out of it chewed it up, swallowed — and looked out at the TV audience and said, “Absolutely delicious, and this you’re hearing from a former Orthodox rabbi!” The audience found it hilarious. This man deserves no kavod or consideration from any Jew who takes Torah seriously. And by the way, Obama WAS NOT “raised as a Muslim” — his father, who left when Obama was a very young boy, was an atheist and his mother, who raised him, had no specific religion.

Let’s see, Obama read about Judaism, Mason learned in Tiferes Yeushalayim and received Semicha. Both are ochel neveilos and both do melacha on Saturdays. Obama never flipped the bird on national television while Mason did it on the Ed Sullivan show. Both are boel non-Jews but Obama is married to his while Mason is not married to Kaoru Suzuki-McMullen.
The best measure of Mason is that none of his traditional venues invite him back and he has been dropped from even the late nite TV shows for the most part. He is a bitter old man who is best left to live out his few remaining years in obscurity, although he can make some remarks like this occasionally which will get some media coverage on a slow news day.
Wait a second everybody! Jackie brought out a point to make you think. When a liberal gets cornered in a debate, they either laugh or attack their opponent.

Jackie Mason is a walking chillul H”. He is a disgrace to Jews everywhere. When he goes out in the media world as some sort of self-appointed spokesman, he only legitimizes the 80% of Jews who couldn’t care less about Torah and hate H”. I’d be MUCH more interested in hearing Obama’s views on Judaism (from an xian scholar’s perspective) than hearing from this piece of dreche!

Jackie Mason used to be funny (his routine about Starbucks is a classic!) but he has become a sour, angry alter kacker. And “World Nut Daily” is one of the crazier sites on the Internet, they are still pushing the ridiculous “birther” garbage!
Forty years ago when ALL the comedians were doing this “schtick” there was nothing wrong with it…..Now, except for the fact that it is old and no longer funny, people like Don Rickels, Mlton Berle, Henny Youngman, Mel Brooks were never called “RACIST”!
Jackie Mason delivered a foul mouthed a humor fit for foul thinking minds. I consider him a caricature of a Jewish comedian and particularly since he vaunted his Jewishness. Being Jewish should be polite, smart and sharp witted all characteristics which he is lacking
