Newark, NJ – The Associated Press has sued a New Jersey police department over information stemming from a New York Police Department spying effort against Muslims.

The lawsuit was filed Monday. It says the New Brunswick Police Department violated state open-records laws when it denied a request for 911 calls and radio recordings related to a June 2009 incident near Rutgers University.
A building superintendent discovered what looked like a terrorist hideout. It was a command center used by NYPD intelligence officers conducting undercover operations.
The AP’s request for materials was denied in April. The lawsuit seeks the materials and legal fees.
An AP series of stories disclosed how NYPD officers kept tabs on student groups at numerous colleges and placed informants in Muslim enclaves.
New Brunswick police haven’t returned a message seeking comment.
The NYPD says its actions were legal.
Ridiculous! Let the police do their jobs saving our lives.
I don’t think this country has a worse internal enemy (other than the actual terrorists themselves) than the AP.. And although they may not do the “actual” hands on terrorism, they are sure hell bent on assisting those terrorist in any way they can….
They should be outlawed and destroyed once and for all…
