Hagit Ofran said she found messages on her stairwell on Monday reading “Hagit – you’re dead,” and “Kahane was right” – a reference to the late ultranationalist rabbi Meir Kahane, who advocated expelling Arabs from Israel.
Ofran monitors West Bank settlement construction for the Peace Now movement. The group has frequently been a target of right-wing wrath in Israel, and Ofran says her home was targeted twice last November.
“This is clearly from the right wing – they don’t like what I’m trying to do,” Ofran said.
Police said they are investigating and searching for suspects. No arrests were made in the previous two cases.
GOOD, she deserves it. She should be happy it’s not worse then the graffitti!
Samba yon: although I disagree vehemently with Ofran, shee has the right to her opinion. Just who are decide she is a rodef? Please site the written opinion of the rav that stated this. If you can’t, where do I get off calling for another Jews’ death?
Individuals who side with the enemy should be sent over to the enemy, hopefully never to be heard from again, period.
Why is it that extreme left wingers are called ‘activists’ and extreme right wingers get called ‘extremists’?
