Ankara , Turkey – Turkey’s prime minister has dismissed opposition criticism of a White House photo showing President Barack Obama holding a baseball bat during a telephone conversation with the leader.

Turkish opposition groups this week picked apart the photo, claiming the picture was disrespectful.
Erdogan told Turkey’s A Haber news channel on Sunday that Obama is “a friend who never falls short of respect or politeness.”
The White House issued a brief statement to the Anadolu news agency Friday saying it released the picture to emphasize the close relationship between the two leaders.
This man has taken away any sense of respect or dignity for the office that he occupies.

It’s not a problem to hold a bat when talking on the phone the problem is how the bat gets into the oval office. it’s not respectful even if he’s president he still has to respect the place.
Romneys team should jump all over this as a great example of how Obama spins everything he says and can’t be trusted. Cmon, honestly, when have you ever held a baseball bat in hand when talking to a friend as a display of your closeness? When an enemy comes near (or passive aggressive behavior) one grasps a bat.
I would be more worried if Obama’s spin was true, and I rather believe that it is. While it doesn’t bother me that someone would hold on to a bat while on the phone, Obama, denying that he hates Jews, being so close with Erdogan, and open and unabashed Jew-hater, confirms our view that they are very much alike.
