Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said Sunday the three suspects were minors, aged 12-13. They will appear in a Jerusalem court to face charges.

The attack 10 days ago targeted a taxi driving in the West Bank. A firebomb struck the vehicle, injuring the six people inside, one seriously. The military suspected Jewish extremists.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders condemned the firebombing.

Extremist Israeli settlers often attack Palestinians and their property as part of a campaign they call the “price tag,” retaliation for either army action against settlers or Palestinian attacks.

Unfortunately, the Israelis will punish these misguided youths.

However, I fear that the Islamic extremists will also decide to punish Israel with some stupid terrorist attack.

So we’ll end up with two punishments for the price of one.

“Misguided youth”? The next time a Palestinian teeenager commits an act of arson or in some other manner attacks Jews or Jewish property, will you have the same tolerant attitude? Of course you won’t, because far too many frum Jews operate on a despicable double standard. We can do whatever we want, and if we’re caught and made to face the consequences, we cry “anti-Semitism” to the point where even other Jews laugh at us. We will never be the Light unto the Nations we were meant to be until we get over this narrow tribalism that makes us no different than the most unadvanced Samoan island herdsman who only knows “my group good, all others bad.”

How long will it be before someone comes along and describes Eli #4 as “a self-hating Jew” for writing a plain, but uncomfortable, truth? Kol hakavod, Eli!
