Brooklyn, NY – Notwithstanding the widening harassment scandal plaguing Assemblyman Vito Lopez, political insiders say he is a shoo-in for re-election into his 15th term to represent Brooklyn’s Ridgewood, Bushwick and Williamsburg neighborhoods.

“Vito could be in jail for murder, and the Democrats would win the district,” Martin Connor, an election lawyer and former state senator told the New York Post (http://bit.ly/T6Oj8R). “It’s a presidential year. A lot of Democrats are going to pull the lever.”
Because Lopez has no Democratic primary challenger and his Republican opponent is little-known even in Republican circles, Lopez is expected to easily cruise to re-election in November, though he may not be able to complete the remainder of his term. Still, Connor noted that even if Lopez wins, “He’ll be ostracized. Nobody’s going to talk to him. Nobody’s going to return his phone calls.”
What a pity if he is reelected. How many more women will be groped? Already four have come forth, but I hear there are several more now being interviewed and they had complained years ago and were not believed. Since there is a paper trail, they are now credible. Shelly Silver is going to have to dig into that slush find again.
Let me correct you Mr. Connor. If Vito had been convicted of mass murder, he would be re-elected. The lemmings who always vote Democratic would vote for Hitler, Yemach Shemo, if he were on the Democratic line.
Nobody’s going to talk to him. Nobody’s going to return his phone calls” that’s even better… Like a can sardines with out the heads!!
Unbelieveable! He should resign immediately! He’s a disgrace. 😛
