Romney aggressively attacked President Barack Obama’s policies at an Atlanta fundraiser.

He’s warning that Obama is trying to change the country “in ways we can’t imagine.” He says the fundamental question in the election is not which candidate cares about poor and middle-class Americans. Instead, he says, the question is which candidate can help them.

Romney says, quote, “I can’t. He can.”

Romney’s comments come two days after an unauthorized video surfaced showing Romney telling donors that nearly half of Americans are dependent upon government and believe they are victims. It’s the latest in a string of problems for the Republican candidate seven weeks out from Election Day.

Finally they are addressing the real issues.

I hardly see why something I can’t imagine is something to be feared. Given Romney’s history and campaign, I find it illogical to fear something he cannot articulate. Why won’t he tell us exactly what Obama is planning that we are to believe is not only unimaginable, but presumably bad too?

And Nixon got in trouble for spying on the Democrats. Is Romney getting inside information now, that he can tell us what Obama’s planning?

    Mr. Romney:

You can’t walk into a room full of VERY rich people and tell them you don’t care about the bottom 47% (working class/poor) and then tell people that you are the only one who can help the poor.

You see, Mr. Romney, I am a taxpayer. I am a CONSERVATIVE. I make a very good living, and I have never taken a dime in government assistance. However, much like the people you seem to detest, I also feel like a victim of my government. My government has programs that allow people like you to buy up a company, take all the money out of it by paying key members ridiculous salaries, and then bankrupting the company at the expense of those of us who pay taxes. Banks can pay out billions in bonuses and still declare bankruptcy and demand that *I* give them part of MY salary to bail them out. This is so because my government is corrupt. The laws are constructed to keep the uber-wealthy making money at the expense of the rest of us. Honest, CAPITALIST, market-driven business is LONG gone.

Mr. Romney, just shut your mouth. You’re a bad liar and it shows. You are handing it to Obama. We can’t afford 4 more years of Obama but people have to be able to stomach four years of YOU.

It is UNREAL the type of rhetoric that comes out of this man’s mouh! Who does Mitt Romney think he is?! Literally trying to SCARE PEOPLE into voting for him! He is such a weak candidate & it’s garbage like this that PROVES it! He wouldn’t be sinking to such a low point like this & trying so hard to distract everyone from his stupid fundraiser video, if he wasn’t truly desparate at this point!

I love how he talks about President Obama “dividing the country”…but then turns around & says in a Fundraiser video that since 47% of the country don’t pay income tax & live off the gov’t teet, they won’t vote for him anyway, so he’s just not gonna bother with trying to “tell them they need to take responsibility & care for themselves”!

I love how he says the President is the “Divider in Chief”… but now is trying desparately to scare people into thinking our President wants to redistribute wealth like Joseph Stalin & do something “foreign” here to our economy.

Really?! Because all I’ve seen Republicans try to do for the past 30yrs is turn us into a Fascist state! Where big business controls everything! Where the Oil Companies write the Energy Policy! LOL

Is THAT the “Utopia” everyone wants for their children?! I want to see Nation-building done right here at HOME for a change! Not “ramp things up in the Middle East” by starting WWIII w\Iran!

This guy is a total joke & I cannot believe w\all his hurtful talk about HALF OF THIS NATION…he has the audacity to go out now & proclaim our President to be the person dividing up the country! Unreal!

He is a phoney & a cruel businessman who believes some of the best & most vulnerable people in society (ie: our Seniors, the Disabled, Your Rabbi & maybe friends of yours)… are “not worth his time” to even bother with!

He needs to go back to his mansion & just keep his trap shut! Because he doesn’t know a THING about the 47% of the country he disparaged the other day!

And we don’t wanna know nothin about HIM!

Romney’s supporters sign their checks on the front.
Obama’s supporters sing their checks on the back.

I’d rather stick with a candidate that has the supporters that sign on the front.

So so true & hilarious. this country is about to collapse

WAKE UP NOW!!! be prepared for all your rights & freedoms to be taken away slowly but surely-not in one shot-& soon WE will not be able to live in the USA as frum yidden. all our rights & freedoms are being taken from us one at a time & the USA is about to become what used to be communist russia
pack your bags NOW & head for Eretz Yisroel, while the pressure is not so hard & before america is attacked by Iran, for then it will be too late & everyone will be leaving in poverty, wishing they had left-now-when they were told.

BOTTOM LINE:this is all the work of Hashem & the choice is yours if you wish to leave now or wait & suffer ahead C”V

    I wish everyone a Gamar v’chasima tova

I have nothing against Mr. Romney’s wealth. It’s his arrogance that bothers me. President Obama released ten years worth of tax returns. Mr. Romney has only released two years of return (incomplete at that) and as his dear wife said “we have disclosed everything YOU people need to know.” His own father stated years ago that a man who would not release his tax return has something to hide. His statement about 47% of the country in essence being moochers, is misleading. A person may be working but his or her earnings may be low enough that they can get some assistance. They still may have to pay taxes on the income. Elederly people who get low SS payments may qualify for extra assistance, they paid into the system, so why paint them in such a bad light. People who get government assistance pay sales taxes when they make taxable purchases.

And for those who would jump down my throat and bash me for being anti-Romeny. I have stood in Shul week after week and recited the prayer for our country for every president from Bush Sr through Obama and I would do the same regardless who wins. I do not suffer from insane racial hatred that motivates so many against Obama. I do my own independent research on issues. I am not a “Sound Byte Sally” who mindlessly repeats a sound byte she hears. I track down the entire article, the video, the article, the magazine and read the entire thing. I must admit that I nearly died laughing when Mr. Romney praised the Israeli health care system. After all it is government mandated health care. Oh wait, that’s right, Israel is civilized nation. That’s why its citizens have health care.
I find it incredible that Mr. Romney made that statement about 47% of the nation when independent government statistics show that the ten states that receive the most government assistance are ten “red” states which solidly vote republican election after election. So Mr. Romney maligned a large portion of his Republican base and they are too idiotic to realize it.

Hey, some of you can come on here & bash ME all you want! But I’m not the one running for office!

And the fact that you can’t say ANYTHING about YOUR candidate who’s running… and can only gripe & moan about the stupid Liberal gentile coming on here irritating you w\her opinions…

It says a LOT more about Mr. Romney, than it does about me! 😀

Face it: the man is INDEFENSIBLE! Period!

And you have NOTHING POSITIVE to say about him! You CAN’T!

So go ahead & deflect… but it just proves your desperate & unable to counter anything I’m saying about the man!

All you can do is come on here & talk about how you don’t like MY opinions!

    Well…. SO?!?!?! LOL

What does THAT have to do w\anything?!?!?!?!

Sorry…. but this is just PATHETIC of some of you folks to come on here, day after day, and bash ME, when I’m not the one running!

And I know this is painful for you to hear: but THIS is why President Obama will get another term! Because just SAYING President Obama is a Marxist, Kenyan, Socialist, Muslim…. doesn’t make it TRUE.

And just coming on here & bashing ME… isn’t going to get Romney elected either! LOL
