But Christie says there’s good news on the horizon for fellow Republicans. He says Romney is going to do “extraordinarily well” in the first debate with President Barack Obama on Wednesday night,

After that face-to-face meeting, Christie says “this whole race is going to be turned upside down.”

Christie tells CBS’ “Face the Nation” that every time Romney was backed into a corner during the GOP nomination fight, he “came out with a great debate performance because that’s where he shines.”

No matter how good Romney may debate , and no matter how many uh uh uh s Hussein says, the moderators are pro Obama apparatchiks that will give softballs to Hussein and gotchas to Romney.

From the angle of the picture, it looks like Mitt can fit into one pants leg of the governor.

It really doesn’t matter which candidate outshines the other in the 2012 debates. The voters will decide on the candidate of their choise, based upon a variety of issues, and not whom is the better debater. In 1964, 1968, and 1972, there were no Presidential debates, nor well there any Presidential debates prior to 1960, during the 20th century. I’m sure that both candidates will score points in the debate, but in the end, it means very little. Yes, Ronald Reagan did better in the debates than Jimmie Carter, but those debates did not decide the election.

I believe this as well. He knows his politics and he knows what he believes in. Obama only knows what’s written for him. His platform of change has failed. He couldn’t change anything because he agreed after the election there was nothing he could do about anything that was going on. The former president didn’t cause it, and the current president couldn’t undo it, not the war in Iraq, not the troops in Afghanistan and not the economy. So he reneged on all his campaign promises. What he did change was the balance of power in the middle east. Since he took office and apologized to the Arab countries for the failure of all the former U.S. administrations bad behavior towards them. He lost the respect of their citizens and their leaders and lost the power it once wielded over the area. Never in the history of the middle east has their been such civil wars and upheaval as with this current administration and all he can do is sit by and watch. The only peaceful nation is Israel. While he keeps call the other countries HIS peace partners, there is no peace in any of those nations. And yet he treats the nation of Israel and their leaders with the least respect.

Whether you like him or not, Christie would have been a good opponent for Obama. Romney is like leftovers that no one wants but there’s nothing else in the house to eat. If anyone really remembers the Republican primary debates they’ll recall that Romney didn’t do that well.

Gentlemen running against crooks don’t win in this game.
What is Romney afraid, why doesn’t he demand Obama come clean on many issues.
And what’s wrong with paying minimal taxes if it is currently 100% leg

What did you expect him to say? “I think he’ll fall flat on his face”, maybe?
