RECAP's application was rejected. The agency had gotten money the previous times and used it to help 68 families buy homes. Each family got $14,000 in the first round and $25,000 from then on.

Some of the Orange County groups that have gotten funding through the program are Orange County Rural Development Advisory Corp., Kiryas Joel Community Housing Development Organization and Newburgh Community Action Committee Inc. [Record]
