His plane landed at the airport in the former capital, Yangon, where he was due to meet President Thein Sein, who has led the political and economic reforms since taking office in March 2011, and Aung San Suu Kyi, who led the fight for democracy under the former junta.
Obama will spend barely six hours in the country, also known as Burma, before flying to Cambodia for summit meetings with the leaders of other Southeast Asian states and partner countries.
Anywhere just to get a ittle honor, and a little attention. It’s more then he is getting back in Washington these days so how could you blame him.
You really are a deluded Obama hater, aren’t you? The man just won reelection, the Democrats strengthened their hold on the Senate, and Republican leaders are talking about how they’ll work with him and admitting their party must change if they wish to remain relevant — and you claim the president is not getting any honor and attention in Washington. I realize you’re living on Planet Limbaugh, but even so, get a grip, dear man.
And yet, still has not visited Israel. Shameful. Who is he going ot bow down to on this trip?
