The ceasefire has not been kept by Hamas for at least the first 2 hours. Agreeing to open borders is imbecilic. But the entire truce is based on the assumption that an Arab/Muslim can keep a commitment to abstain from violence. Nice dream. So I expect to be glued to the news sites about the continuing rocket attacks and Israel’s efforts to silence them by destroying them.

    Obama was right.

Back when Obama’s good friend and patron Bill Ayers sent the first flotilla to bust the naval blockade of Gaza, Obama called for an investigation into why 9 terrorists were killed, and he also stated:

    “The blockade is unsustainable.”

He has just proven that the Israeli government can not sustain the blockade preventing the importation of weapons to Hamas. US pressure has made sustaining the blockade impossible.

Don’t forget, his advisor Powers has been calling for a US invasion of Israel for years.

although you are right about the fact that Obama pressured Israel, nevertheless, Israel is to blame for giving in. even under bush, there was pressure. Israel must stand up for itself. or suffer the consequences.

I think this is still good for us!
We rather all the Palestinians escape to Egypt.

so they can bring more weapons and bombs

The actual text says: “Opening of crossings…shall be dealt with after 24 hours from the start of the ceasefire.” Either they only read what they want OR the Arabic version didn’t include that.

    Hamas has won again.

Please let Reb Yoilish’s way prevail so that no more Jewish blood is shed over this worthless, mismanaged and misbegotten medine. Let this past Yom Haatzamois have been the last ridiculous celebration of a state that is not in any way independent of anything except Torah.

Moshiach is everyone’s first choice, but if not, let the dismantlement begin now.

    “I will have Israel’s back “- Obama.
But what he didn’t say, was, I will have Israel’s back in a vice-grip.

And the piece by piece process continues, G-d have mercy, as the murderers celebrate.

Goods yes, but weapons no. Now who will we trust to enforce that? Muslim Brotherhood? Egypt? Exactly the ones who won’t recognize Israel, and want it off the map. If that is the result of pressure from Obama, then he should be impeached. At least Hillary is already going, and hopefully into obscurity.

The only management of the borders that insures any degree of safety is by Israel, and they should not feed the mouths of those who continually attack it, nor those who are being raised from infancy with hatred being taught to be bloodthirsty. These savages should be restricted to cages where they can be fed their daily rations of pork. If they behaved civilized, I might think differently. And I fault anyone who pushes Israel to make concessions to these animals.

Don’t believe it. Here is the text of the cease fire agreement. It is available on the JPOST.com web site.

    C. Opening the crossings and facilitating the movements of people and transfer of goods and refraining from restricting residents’ free movements and targeting residents in border areas and procedures of implementation shall be dealt with after 24 hours from the start of the ceasefire.

All it says is they will first deal with it after 24 hours (which is probably the cooling off period Israel wanted). There is no commitment to open the borders ever. So Hamas lied (once again) and they can later complain Israel didn’t live up to their end of the bargain. Hard to imagine Bibi would agree to just open the border.

bluff !!! like all other hamas propaganda; Israel will not agree to that, but hamas has to say it for the dumb arabs who think they won.

Kol Hakovod to Secy. Clinton and President Obama for contributing to this agreement. The usual haters will complain but can you imagine Romney having done anything other than to spew stupid comments about the “terrorists” and only increase the number of rockets raining down on EY.
