The invocation by a female “rabbi” was surprising. Of course she advocated gender equality. At least she wasn’t wearing a prayer shawl!

why did Shelly pick a reform “rabbi” to lead the invocation as opposed to a real rabbi?
No real rabbi want’s to have anything to do with him after toaivah marriage.

In previous years Shelly chose R R Feinstein, R Romm, R Bomzer.
and now we get rasha Linda Henry Goodman, who praised the toaivah marriage bill and the fact that she was the first female “rabbi” of the board of “rabbis”.
