Edgartown, MA – An appearance by a rodeo clown wearing a mask lampooning President Barack Obama at a Missouri fair is an embarrassing moment for the state, a Missouri-born White House spokesman said on Wednesday.

The incident in which the clown wore the mask and encouraged a bull to run him down occurred on Saturday at the Missouri State Fair. Leading Democrats and Republicans as well as State Fair officials said it was disrespectful to the president.
The clown is now banned from future state fairs.
“I can tell you, as a native Missourian, it’s certainly not one of the finer moments for our state and not the way that I like to see our state mentioned in the news,” Josh Earnest, the deputy White House press secretary, told reporters in Edgartown, Massachussetts.
Earnest said he did not know if Obama, who is on an eight-day vacation on the Massachusetts island of Martha’s Vineyard, had a reaction to the incident.
What about whenever Jay Leno and that idiot letterman made total humiliation of Bush? Noone cared then. This clown can do whatever he wants. We do not live in a dictatorship.
Obama tarnishes the honor of the office of President of the United States and embarrasses our country – he should be forced to leave his job and be banned for life – I’m sure the rodeo clown would do a better job than Obama himself

To #5 - You are out of touch with reality; this is 2013, and not 1935, when Al Jolson used to put on Blackface and sing “Mammy”. There was a group in Philadelphia, called The Mummers, who used to parade every year in Blackface. Finally, they were advised not to do it any longer, and the practice ceased. The Blackface, with large white lips, was one of the worst case of ethnic stereotyping; it was similar to the ethnic stereotyping, which was done by Der Stuermer, pertaining to derogatory caricatures of Jews. Therefore, it is incredible, shocking, and astounding, that you are advocating the Blackface to reappear? Your scholarly explanation, please?

The reality is that people make a big deal because Obama is black. Everyone in public office gets made fun of all the time.
