Weiner’s spokeswoman says the car he was riding in was involved in a chain-reaction crash Saturday morning on the FDR Drive, which runs along the borough’s east side.
It wasn’t immediately clear where Weiner was headed or if he was on official business.
A Fire Department of New York spokeswoman says no one was hurt in the crash. She says it happened near East 96th Street.
Weiner is seeking the Democratic nomination for mayor. The primary is Sept. 10.
I hope he wasnt twittering something!!!
He was enroute to the “March on Washington” commemoration and showed up there a few hours later. (Don’t know how he made the trip).
that’s what he gets for driving on shabbos…
He couldn’t be on “official business” because he’s no longer an official. I wonder if he was texting.
I’m sure he knows better then that not to twitter or text on Shabbos, unless it was done with a ‘shinui’….
Weiner was riding in a car on Shabbos? Say it ain’t so!
He isn’t Jewish who cares what he does on shabbos
Riding in a car on Shabbas is like feeling a broken bone through your shoe. It probably wont hurt that much but you really do not want to do it if you do not have to do it much.
Don’t sext and drive , specialty on Shabbos
