Brooklyn — In a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for residents and commuters, Verizon Wireless, expanded its network with a new cell site, the fourth the company has activated in Brooklyn this year.
The new cell site will improve network coverage and capacity in Brooklyn along the Shore Parkway to Ridge Boulevard, and from Owls Head Park south to 80th Street.
Verizon Wireless has invested $1 billion in its New York Metro wireless network in the past three years — $475 million last year alone.
