in his Speech Vanderhoef said: “we are once again proud to honor two Rockland volunteer firefighters for their extraordinary bravery and courage in the face of great danger.
“We cannot and will not forget the bravery and selfless dedication of all the men and women of the Spring Valley Fire Department, the Spring Hill Ambulance Corps, and the Spring Valley Police Department, especially ex-Chief Scott Maia and, in particular, that of Firefighters Chaim Rosenberg and Abraham Lenorovitz.”
“Their selfless dedication to the community is the reason Mr. Lee is still with us today – and the reason we honor them tonight for their extraordinary valor.”
bigwheel…That is true..
anon. 7:58AM …His bravery was honored here. Let’s not forget that. Just because he is not wearing it (the Kippah) doesn’t diminish this great honor bestowed uopn him…! …No. It doesn’t. But when you “Represent” the Frum Community (in a way), then the Symbols (of that Community should be there, as they were on MR. Rosenberg!!!
Who is this Abraham Lenorovitz?
Is he from KJ?
One of them was wearing his Kippah, the other was not. His bravery is what was honored here, lets not forget that. Just because he is not wearing it shouldn’t diminish this great honor bestowed upon him.
Rosenbergs Kapel can be seen!
how about the spring hill mambers that revived him back to life. They deserve recognition too. They were frum as well and put in a lot of
work to revive him.
