The New York Post (http://bit.ly/KkUXHi) reports that about 50 NYPD detectives and other city officials searched city hall for the bible, first given to FDR at his first inauguration in 1933.
A detective found just before 5 p.m.
Library director Lynn Bassanese loaned the bible to de Blasio for the ceremony. She said she planned to personally bring the book to the swearing-in, and vowed to carry it back to the library herself after the ceremony.
She did not immediately return a call for comment.
Former President Bill Clinton performed the ceremony Wednesday.
with a family that comes out in front of NYC like punks, I would not put it past one of them to take it.
Yup they took over already, and already things go missing.
In our society the bible went missing way before yesterday
Alot more is gona go missing under De Blassio. Wait till he gives a full four year back pay to all the unions.Good Luck New Yorkers. Better Days are coming.
Lohota 2017! (Guliani also lost against Dinkins in 88)
I hope one of the poor folk stole it …it’s ok as long as it’s not one of the1% taking
Probably, some liberal member of the team thought that it was part of a new welfare benefit give-away program.I doubt that they would ever really read it.
(P.S.-Police : checkout all the security cameras and as the French used to say
before they started speaking Arabic-“chechez la femme”.
i can’t believe the looting already started, i thought it would take a few months maybe a year, but they already started looting the city,
wow
The article above says the following “A detective found just before 5 p.m.” so it sounds like (based somewhat on the wording) that it was found.
I like his son’s hairstyle
Maybe Clinton took it for Hilary’s swearing in. Oy!
His son’s head could have been used in a Chia Pet commercial.
Sorry guys, the Bible was found yesterday about 5:00pm in a garbage can. according to one of our fair city’s Newspapers.
