    JTA.org (http://bit.ly/1eC7eTt) reports that Bergman miss the pomp and circumstance as the new members are seated, as well as the State of the Union address which was given by President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.

    Bergman, who was in Rome this past week for meetings with the Pope, said about his absence in a Thursday email that, “My fellow party members respect me on this point; it is part of the diversity and plurality of our party.”
