Crown Heights, NY – Arrests Made in Attack of Alon Sherman

    Crown Heights, NY – NYPD Detectives have made an arrest in connection with last weeks robbery and assault of Alon Sherman, when he was robbed of his cell phone, watch and bicycle.

    A 14-year-old Black boy is under arrest in the 71st Precinct who is being charged with robbery, and 17-year-old Namor Clarke a Black man from Clinton Hill was brought in at this time for questioning only.

    Detectives were able to make the arrest after the teen used cell phone of the victim. The teens do not live in the Crown Heights area.

    Additionally, a press conference is starting shortly at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, where numerous elected officials are expected to address the media.

    Police say the 14-year-old will be charged as an adult, and as of now they are not classifying it as a bias crime.

    17-year-old Clarke is also under arrest and is also being charged robbery.

    So Chanina Sperlin had the right thing in mind.

    1) It doesn’t say which precinct he DOES live in, so it could be 77th or it could be also near here.

    2) What about the other kid? He came to Crown Heights for a reason, so what was it? easy targets, local business? Was he buying/selling merchandise drugs in the area?

    He didnt just drive through here for a burger and decide to beat someone for a bike.

    Either way, the ages of these kids is so troubling and the nature of a crime like this for a 14 year old is shocking.

    Crime is crime and it’s too frequently committed on Jews. So I don’t care of they live in Brownsville or Crown Heights, it needs to end.

    I heard that the criminals does not live in Brooklyn, Chanina Sperlin of the CHJCC new & KNOWs what he’s talking about, Chanina Sperlin is the best, he fights crime.
