Al Sharpton, 1199 SEIU union head George Gersham, and top Bill Clinton aides, Valerie Berlin and Jonathan Rosen, are non-productive and give the appearance that de Blasio is a “lonely man” and a procrastinator.

NYPOST.com (http://bit.ly/VvxIPA) reports that the source, who claims to have witnessed de Blasio’s protracted and “obsessive” calls first hand, said the mayor is “constantly taking their temperature,” to the point where he is no longer “proactively running the city.”

“I just don’t think the guy has it in him,” the source said.

The source said de Blasio spent an inordinate amount of time speaking to Gersham immediately following his return from Italy trying to get a handle on public perception towards Eric Garner’s chokehold death case, as well as the Rev. Al Sharpton’s planned demonstration on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.

A subsequent gab-fest with Sharpton, the source said, contained “a lot of pleading on the mayor’s end.”

De Blasio’s spokeswoman, Emma Wolfe, rejected the claims, saying, “The mayor’s priorities and his time are right where they ought to be.”
