While traveling earlier this week with my family out of the country, my IT department investigated accusations which we have now learned to be true. A senior staff member failed to be transparent in dealing with client matters. He has taken full responsibility.

We have been in business since January 2003 – and according to Odwyer’s 2007 rankings our revenues exceeded $11.5M, and we are the 21st largest independent PR firm in the United States.

Growing companies often have problems in their expansion, and we continue to strive for the highest performance. We have instituted internal measures to ensure this cannot happen again. We continue to strive for the highest ethical standards.

This battle is not about blogging, it is however about protecting the highest levels of Kashrut in the Jewish community. We as a firm feel personally and professionally passionate about these, and related issues.

Critics of traditional Judaism have chosen to smear the largest provider of the highest level kashrut meat in the world. We stand with protecting kashrut.

But of course, the Rubashkin haters are still going to say Rubashkin did it, even though the boss of the PR firm admitted it was his staff! Nothing will change, these jealous/farbissiners will continue to try & destroy a decent family & a successful business.

Agri should dump the 21st largest PR firm, sue them, and hire the 20th or above.

I did not see them smearing the Kashrus of the plant. I saw them smearing the business practices or lack of them.

Unless this PR firms addresses the ethics and business practices, this will become a ‘bait and switch’ operation to divert our attention from the real problems of the plant to a manufactured problem (Kashrus).

this is about a high priced high profile PR firm stooping so low as to employ the most basic of amateur unprofessional tactics and not even be smart enough to cover their tracks.

I have no doubt that 5WPR is reading this. Having said that, a professional firm should have not resorted to these tactics, so that THERE WILL BE NO TRACKS TO COVER UP. I am amazed that the writer seems to imply that a PR firm will behave like this and their only crime was getting caught.

This is a quote from the article – “A senior staff member failed to be transparent in dealing with client matters”

Translation: His crime was that he got caught while he was trying to smear someone else.

What point am I missing? Rubashkin hired a firm to “counteract internet rumors”. What did you think they would do?

So what he’s saying is that next time they’ll make sure to use a proxy?

“A senior staff member failed to be transparent in dealing with client matters. He has taken full responsibility.”

    To the 5WPR firm:

We all know that you are reading this. What does ‘responsibility’ mean? Will ‘he’ be fired? Will he apologize to the person that he defamed? Will he claim which posting he wrote so that we know who is legitimate and who is the paid shill?

What actions are you taking to prevent this in the future? Who are the other customers of the firm and who have you defamed in the past?

I know that I am sounding very harsh, but you tried to fool a great majority of the Jewish people who, unlike you, do take Kashrus seriously. This is part of our hearts and soul; this is part of our beliefs that we would, under certain circumstances, die for.

I would like answers. Pretend that your business depends on it. We all know that Rubashkin is suffering, and his business depends on it.

what happened and who did it? can someone fill in those of us who dont know the inside story?

What happened is that Juda Englander ( think I mis-spelled that name), owner of Kossar Bialy on Grand Street, Lower East Side NY is a VP of this company. He decided to play ‘dirty’ and besmirch the people who object to Rubashkin, for whatever reason.

His company decided to stand behind him. They made a PR piece (see above) that tries to promote their company (he is #21 ), tries to divert our attention and say that this is a Kashrus issue (which it is not), and promises that he changed his company (which he neglects to tell us how he did it).

I might not be a fan of Rubashkin, but this is going to make Rubashkin suffer more. I agree with 9:57 (above) and Kashrus is not a thing to make fun of, like this PR firm is trying to hide behind.

How does the concept of ne’emanus and kashrut come into play with this whole controversy? Has anyone addressed this issue? I would be interested in hearing any thoughts or articles that have been written on the subject.

Which controversy are you referring to? The part handled by Rubasjkin or the part handled by the PR company?

If you are referring to the PR company, what ne’emanos do you want from a PR firm? We saw for ourselves that they lied and tried to cover it up. Then they claimed that Kashrus was their cheif concern, bypassing the issue.

Perhaps Rubashkin should hire a new PR Firm to try to deal with the damage done by their PR Firm.
