The mayor’s office says the 3-story house in Park Slope is listed for nearly $5,000 a month.
The 100-year-old town house has three bedrooms, one bathroom and a small backyard complete with an herb garden and a crabapple tree.
It’s listed with Tricia Webster of Brooklyn Properties. She tells WCBS-TV that the de Blasios had the house repainted and put in new carpets and kitchen appliances.
The family moved into Gracie Mansion, the official mayoral residence on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, in July. Built in 1799, the Federalist-style house has eight bathrooms.
I guess he’s more optimistic than I am about his future
Hopefully he learned from Charlie Rangle’s mistake and will report the income on his tax return.
Since the mayor is a progressive and a champion of assiting low income residents I think its only fair that he rent out his house to low income resident for $1000 a month. What an evil wicked wall street/ real estate mogul.
I hope he ends up in L&T and gets a feel of how broken the NYC system is
Hey Blasio , charge $95.00 a month as much as I can charge my rent controlled tenant
Good Luck with your tenant Mayor hope you get the same treatment from an under the arm folded Jewish Press classified tenant and L&T court like the rest of.
