The likely Republican presidential contender spoke Friday morning in front of an audience of conservative activists at the second day of the annual CPAC convention just outside of Washington.
The former governor has been studying up on foreign policy and trying to reintroduce himself to voters after a poorly-received 2012 run.
Perry slammed President Barack Obama’s approach to dealing with world leaders, arguing that the world would be safer if the White House took a harder line approach.
He also touted his efforts as governor to secure his state’s border with Mexico and said any conversation about immigration reform has to begin with border security.
I am no Obama fan at all but let me remind everyone that it was Bush who created the monster called ” Isis” . It was his failed plans of invading Iraq that made us all less face. Had we not ogtten rid of Saddam;
1) Isis would not be here today
2) Iran would not be so emboldned. They would be somewhat scared of Iraq their arch enemy.
Oh and John McCain well he is one of the strongest advocates of getting rid od Assad and arming the “moderate” rebels. We all know how safe that is.
Did Obama mess up on Isis? Yes He is using kid gloves to fight them and is weak. But at least he didn’t drag us into more messes.
CPAC is the ruination of the Republican Party, and if you believe that the Republican Party is the only hope for the US, then CPAC is the ruination of the USA.
You cannot win an election in 2015 , if you dont stick your head out the window, and realize we’re not in Cal Coolidge’s 1920’s world anymore.
Right, you are going to win on abortion, SSM, morality issues. Maybe you will win the Boro Park Mikveh vote, but thats about it.
Santorum ( or insert name of ostrich here) for president of the Boro Park, I got a PAC already set up for that.
