A group of people supporting different positions on the proposed nuclear deal between the United States and Iran gather in front of the offices of United States Senator Charles Schumer (Democrat-New York) in New York, New York, USA, 10 August 2015. EPAWashington – Democratic Sen. Tom Carper of Delaware has become the 30th senator to back the Iran nuclear deal, as momentum for the White House-backed agreement grows.

Carper’s announcement Friday puts Senate Democrats closer to two crucial vote totals. Thirty-four votes are needed to uphold a presidential veto of a resolution disapproving of the agreement. Forty-one votes would allow Democrats to block the resolution from passing in the first place next month.

In an opinion piece in The News Journal of Wilmington, Delaware, Carper says the deal is good for America and allies including Israel.

And Carper writes that “It beats the likely alternative – war with Iran – hands down.”

Republicans are unanimously against the deal but so far only two Senate Democrats have announced opposition.

    Attention Yidden who vote!

Now you know who your friends are and now you can stop supporting your enemies the DemocRats. Plain & simple.

You have been fooled until now. Frum (looking) members of our communities are taking money, yes, they’re being paid to promote these sonai Yisroel. They write articles and bring their “ousvorf” politicians into the community and try to convince you to support them. A charpa and a bisha!

Do a simple cheshbon. How many candidates have you voted for have your family values? How many have your Torah values? How many have any values?

    Don’t be fooled again!!!

Don’t listen to these paid shysters. When someone in our community tells you to vote for a politician see what’s behind the request. You’ll usually find that he is being by the politician or directly benefits with a few dollars for his cause while it endangers the entire community.

Make sure that you are registered to vote. If you’re a DemocRat you can fill out a form at the post office and change your registration to Republican or Independent. You will soon see the difference in the type of mail you receive.

    Don’t be fooled again.

Remember term limits are called not voting for the politician. People just because they compliment you or give your community money, that is called being paid off for you vote. I would bet after they win they call you suckers.

We ain’t getting a veto proof but I would watch out for a 60 filibuster proof. i am scared we won’t reach that thershhold either. Why is that important? Bceause at-least Obama has to override congress which will be viewed as a shove down the throat. If the dems get to fillibuster then we won’t have even that little advantage. So 60 is an important number too

as long as liberal jews vote the way they do,and other jews(mosdos, agudah, yeshivas etc) vote for the people who promise to get them the most money from the govt programs ,we will never get a vote for Israel that is needed.
