It looks like a toy lulav and esrog set. Also, they lulav and hadassim/aravos do not appear to be bound as they should.

Pure politicc. Probably went to a church next to “cross” himself, followed by a Ramadan Feast at the local mosque. Heck, he would probably help sacrifice a goat if the Voodoo vote was important.

Of course it is minhag chabad. It is exactly they way they do it. Chabad people do not use the little basket holder, and use as many hadassim as they can get.

why does everyone always have to criticize? We just kopped el chait, and all you guys do is find fault with everything!! Do Tshuvah, Moshiach is coming!! A mitzvah is a mitzvah and if Bloomberg made the Brocha he has a mitzvah! and the guys that brought it to him have a bigger mitzvah! I dont see any of you posters doing anything productive except running your mouths!!

If he doesn’t believe in Torah MiSinai his brochah is not a brochah and his mitzvah is not a mitzvah.
    It is a photo-op.

It’s nice that he tried to do a mitzva but the Lulav he is holding has way too many Hadassim. You’re only supposed to have four.
The esrog is also a bit too big, and if you enlarge the picture you can see a small blemish near the bottom.

While they think he’s shaking the lulav, he’s really shaking them down for their votes.

King Bloomy, your comment was sickening!
For heaven’s sakes, he is a Jew and agood one even if he is not frum. Whatever mitzvah he does, he gets a schar for, so stop being so critical. BH there are some people out there like Chabad who believe in every Jew and strive to give everyone a chance…..Get a life all of you!

Chanina Sperlin is no longer part of the Vaad Hakohol. He was voted out with the last elections. He is a community activist that rubs shoulders with the right people. May he have the wisdom to make the correct decisions is an increasingly grey political world.

No. 13……Hellooooooo……..Any mitzvah a Yid does is a “mitzvah”! If everyone would think like you did they would never try to be makariv a a “frei” yid! We are all responsible for each other and wherever there is a “pintele” yid we are supposed to try and help them, be them makariv, do mitzvahs with them, and many yidden that have been completely secular have become Shomer Torah and Mitzvahs and it all started by one Yid helping another Yid to DO A MITZVAH! A GUT KVITTEL AND may Hashem send Moshiach as soon as possible!

You are an am-ho’oretz (m’ikur hadin it is 3 Haddassim NOT 4) and you have no busha in showing it to everyone!
