Silver made the remarks Wednesday after leaving a conference at Manhattan federal court.
His trial is scheduled to start Nov. 2. The 71-year-old Democrat was arrested in January on charges that he collected $4 million in
kickbacks by abusing his powerful legislative position.
Silver resigned his leadership post but is keeping his legislative seat while fighting the charges.
No way will he be vindicated. They are still collecting evidence on his fraudulent activities. If he were smart, he would keep his mouth shut.
i cant wait till they put away this walking hillul hash-em just like they did with his best friend willy.
Shelly Silver will win in court, He paid his taxes. All he did was not disclose all is income to the state senate which is no big deal. As long as you declare your income to the state ,city and federal government no crime has been committed. Any one who works for state must have a second income or your can’t survive in office, Mr. Silver just made more money.
