New York, NY – The Anti-Defamation League assisted in the investigation into white supremacists arrested in an alleged plot to assassinate Barack Obama. The ADL, which tracks white supremacist groups, provided authorities with information on Daniel Cowart, 21, of Jackson, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of West Helena, Ark.

An investigation culminated Oct. 22 in the arrests of the two men, who were charged with “possessing an unregistered firearm, conspiring to steal firearms from a federally licensed gun dealer, and threats against a major candidate for the office of president,” according to an ADL release.
ADL had information on the pair partly because of Cowart’s involvement in Supreme White Alliance, a racist skinhead group monitored by the group. “This case shows how extreme ideologies easily lead to extreme actions,” said Abraham Foxman, ADL’s national director.
Don’t blow this story out of proportion. Of course there are White Skinhead orgaizations, but these 2 were just young hacks. It was never anything serious. The media always tries to make white people look bad. For example the Sarah Palin on a noose in W Hollywood, imagine Hussain Obama on a noose, the guy would be in prison, the media would never be off his back.
It’s true that effigies of Obama in a noose (at University of Kentucky & a front yard in Indiana) are eliciting more concern. This may, however, be due to the fact that lynchings of African-Americans (as in several hundred) were used to intimidate African-Americans after the Civil War and through the 1960’s. Although some Caucasians, including Jews, have been lynched, this was a crime committed primarily against African-Americans and (to a much smaller extent) their supporters as a political tool. In contrast, very few, if any, Caucasian women have been lynched in this country in the past two centuries.
Imagine if, during the 2000 election campaign, someone had vandalized campaign signs with swastikas. Do you think people would react the same way to a vandalized Bush-Cheney sign as they would to a vandalized Gore-Lieberman sign? (Of course this analogy would work better if it took place in Germany, since these lynchings of course happened in this country).
you dont get it. the real dangerous american haters dont care if your black green or jewish – they hate everyone all the same. some hick in ohioh had a halloween display with an obama in effigy hanging in a noose with a big magen dovid on his head. BH the adl helped foil the plot.
Yeah, don’t fool yourselves. These guys are serious, and they are dangerous. And we Yidden are at the top of their hit list.
