    Spokeswoman Luba Samri said security was out in force Wednesday in Shuafat, a Palestinian neighborhood in east Jerusalem.

    Police have said Ibrahim Al-Akri drove his minivan into a train platform then attacked bystanders. He was shot dead at the scene.

    Israel is currently struggling to contain near-daily Palestinian attacks that have been ongoing for over two months with no signs of relenting. Palestinians have killed 19 Israelis in stabbings, shootings and vehicular attacks. At least 100 Palestinians were killed, including 65 said by Israel to be attackers.

    Last month, Israel renewed a policy of demolishing homes of Palestinians accused of carrying out deadly attacks.

    Does the army do this only after determining that his wife and children were accessories to the attack or is this just a violent act against innocent civilians?

    Just got out of work and I see so many excited people who have me pinnned completely wrong. I happen to be very conservative. I never vote Democrat and I believe that Obama is destroying America. I hope to vote for Trump or Cruz in ’16.
    However, I care enough about the Jews in EY to not fall hook, line and sinker for the State’s propaganda. There is a reason that the army has not supported home demolitions. It is mainly a political move to satisfy the citizen’s desire for revenge. And judging from these comments it really works.

    After reading all the previous comments, simply put it’s a catch 22! However as was mentioned many times in previous comments, israel ought to learn and act the way China warns would be terrorists in advance with one stern warning and then carries out its punishment for violators of its warning, as China has demonstrated time and time again in its Muslim province of Xinjiang after the 2009 massacre.
    They warned the entire province that they will not allow this to recur and if it does then: the town or village where the terrorist lived will be flattened; any resident who knew in advance of the terrorists plan is as guilty as the terrorist, and subject to capitol punishment; there will be no media coverage during these courses of action;
    All residents of the terrorists village will have their businesses license revoked and businesses confiscated and shut down ;
    Anyone caught with a blade on his person will be incarcerated, and his family as well.
    The above is a form of collective punishment preceded by a stern warning so that no one civilian can say they didn’t know what punishment to expect. This is how China maintains its social order and squashes, and/or eliminates any radicalized extremists from its Muslim populated Xinjiang province. The entire Israel in land mass and population is smaller than Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang, and it’s time for Israel to safeguard it’s citizens, and consider the entire israel as china treats Xinjiang province with an iron fist, in order to maintain law and order and social stability.
