Trump is speaking at an event with supporters after Ted Cruz was declared the winner of the Monday night contest — the first of the 2016 election.

Trump says that when he started the campaign, he was advised not to compete in Iowa because he couldn’t finish in the top 10. Trump says he felt he had to do it and wanted to give it a shot.

Trump is congratulating Cruz and the other candidates. He says he thinks he’ll win the New Hampshire primary next week and that he will go on to be the GOP nominee and win the White House.

    He’s a loser.

To #1 - Why is he a loser, because you don’t like him? The primary season has only begun, and there are still 49 other state primaries and caucuses to be tallied, plus the primary and caucus tallies from American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Reply to 2. You might back him and good Americans might agree with his stance, but in the end nobody believes Trump has the qualifications to lead this country back to its former greatness. Throw your support to Cruz or Rubio, or give the election to Hillary

You’re all stupid. Just because Cruz won in a largely evangelical state, does not mean he’s going to win everywhere. Watch and see how you’ll all end up with egg on your faces,
