“Samaritans” why does a Jew use that word to describe a good and helpful person?????

The Samaritans were enemies of the Jews the word “Good Samaritan”
comes from lehavdil the gospel of luke.
“A priest and a Levite pass by without helping him. But a Samaritan stops and cares for him, taking him to an inn where the Samaritan pays for his care”.

is used by the wrong testament as a parable (Moshul) to mock and insult Levim and Kohanim Leaders of the Bnai Yisroel and put them in a bad light

There are Shomronim in Manhattan? I thought they all died out near Har Gerizim about 20 years ago.
