While welcoming Rivlin in the Kremlin, Putin noted that nearly 1.5 million Israeli citizens have origins in Russia and other former Soviet nations, which helps drive Russia and Israel closer.

The Russian president said he also expects to meet soon with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss regional security issues.

After Russia launched its air campaign in Syria on Sept. 30, it coordinated with Israel to prevent any possible incidents between Russian and Israeli militaries.

Putin on Monday ordered the withdrawal of most Russian warplanes from Syria, voicing hope that it would contribute to the success of Syria peace talks in Geneva.

Putin is a tzadik he stopped selling Iran a major weapon once he found out that Hezbollah was getting it, meanwhile Obama is giving Iran billions so it can buy weapons FOR Hezbollah.

The first few comments above perfectly illustrate the gross ignorance and pathalogical hatred of Obama that cause so many Yidden here to post dumb comments. Putin was the drving force behind the Iran nuclear deal and for rehabilitating Iran in the international community. And yet you Bozos praise this KGB killer Putin as a tzaddik. You deserve to live in a dictatorship under a thug like Putin. Maybe that will cure you of your deranged hatred of an American president whose policies regarding Jewish settlements and the need for a two-state solution are no different from his predecessors or, for that matter, about half of all Israelis. And to #3: Netanyahu has met more often with Obama than with Putin. Sorry to burst your bubble.
