“As long as the State is unable to protect us and secure us in our homeland, then, you buy our houses and properties and pay us the money and deport us from the country,” said the rabbi, Yahya bin Yaish, brother of the Mousa Yaish was killed.

The rabbi has revealed abuses and assaults over the past few months against the Jewish community which forms only less than 500 people among the 22 million Yemeni populations.

“Over the past months we have been suffering from repeated assaults and threats, and although we have been reporting to the official concerned bodies and tribal chiefs but without success,” he said.

He accused “some local people headed by bodyguards of some influential officials” of committing such repeated “assaults, abuses, harassments” against the Jews in Raida and Kharef in Amran province, where about 400 people of the Jewish community lives.

The Ministry of Interior said Saturday it had arrested eight of these people accused of abusing the Jews.

“The assaults and threats reached the murder, like my brother who was cold bloodily killed in the market in the eyes and ears of all,” The rabbi said.

“They search us when we come and go, they search our visitors, and investigate with our guests, they sometimes attack out houses, beat us, and threat our women with guns, and nobody rescued us from them, it seems that everybody is helpless to protect us from those assailants, or maybe it is organized assaults,” he added.

The former pilot, Abdul Azeez Hamoud Al Abdi, in his 40s, confessed to killing the Jew Mousa Yaish, without showing any kind of repentance over committing the crime, according to sources familiar to the investigations.

The sources said the perpetrator said he did that to “get closer to Allah” , and that he warned the Jews in writing one month ago. In his alleged letter he said to the Jews: You either convert to Islam, or leave the country, or face the sword.

However, Yahya bin Yaish, the rabbi, denied that they had received a letter from the perpetrator or any one else before the murder incident.

The sources also said the investigations have also shown that the perpetrator has traveled to Saudi Arabia and Lebanon during 2008 but without further information about the reasons behind the visits.

The perpetrator was fired from his work about four years ago for his extremism in dealing with others, the sources said.

The deputy director of the security in Amran province, Ahmed Al Suraihi, confirmed that investigations have completed and the case will be referred to the prosecution over the coming two days.

Relatives of the victim from Israel, US, and Britain, have arrived in Yemen to participate in the funeral which will be held this week. Two of his sisters were injured one of them seriously, in a car accident in their way from Raida to Amran on Friday after they arrived from Israel.

“Now, they in a hospital in Sana’a, and the funeral may be delayed until his sisters are recovered,” said one of the relatives who accompanied the two sisters to the hospital in Sana’a.

These people sound very foolish asking a government that hates jews to pay for their homes so they can go to Israel.

If these people had any saichel they would get up and leave immediately.

Asking Hitler to pay for their homes will not work. Muslims hate us and want to destroy us.

These precious Yidden DO NOT WANT TO MOVE TO ISRAEL. They are many generations Yemenites, and own property in Yemen. They have centuries old Yemenite traditions and minhagim.

If American Jews were persecuted here, would you tell them to all leave and go to another country, one they did not want to go to?
Besides, why would they believe they would be safer in Israel in the long run? If I had to sell them on that idea, I would not know where to begin.
The very survival of the country called Israel is not assured at this time.
It makes more sense for them to come to the US.

But, why should they just walk away from their homes? Why give up all their heritage, homes, land, businesses, assets, etc., and become poor immigrants in another country. Yemen is their country.

Also, the saving of Sepharadim by dragging them to Israel has a long and painful history of Jews being taken to Israel, where they were encouraged to toss away the
Torah and mitzvos, and pick up guns to fight for the country who “saved” them, to pay for this “saving.”

Would you rather risk the flesh and blood parts of your family in Yemen, or their very souls/neshamas in Israel.

No, this is not intended to be some kind of anti-zionist post. It is just a post intended to help see the issue from another point of view.

Post #5 is sick!! “Would you rather risk the flesh and blood parts of your family in Yemen, or their very souls/neshamas in Israel.”

Please wake up. In eretz yisroel there are tens of thousands of sfardim sitting and learning torah all day with the help of shas using grants from the treifene medina. If you want to sacrifice these poor peoples flesh and blood for your politics say so, but please don’t talk about neshomas.

Or maybe talk about the neshomas of the thousands of youth from williamsburg and monroe that are becoming mechallel shabbos and worse!

and let the zionist pigs cut their payos off?

The ones cutting of the payes these days are the satmar bochurim that are throwing away yiddishkeit. The Zionists are funding with tens of millions of dollare the yeshivas set up by Shas for the sfardishe yidden.

You are living 60 years ago. Wake up!

The zionists like Ben Gurion etc. were definetly terrible and the way they tried to asimilate the jews from Teman was unforgivable. But B”H today the leaders of Israel are not the same apikorsim but rather Tinok Sh’neshbeu. Although at the time of the establishment of Israel people could argue that it was not what the torah wanted according to the satmar shita but B”H today yiddishkeit is growing in leaps and bounds (far more than in the USA) and thanks to the 100s of millions of dollars that the Israeli government gives to support Mikvas, Shules Yeshivas etc.

Israel always pays for the planes. They have a history of flying in anywhere in the world and at their expense rescuing any yid that is in danger. One example is the euthiopians who have gone through giyyur (due to a small sofek) and thousands are shomrei torah umitzvos.
The air force pay for rabbonim to teach the airforce yiddishkeit which has resulted in many baal teshuvas. It is no wonder that the majority of baal teshuvos are in eretz yisroel. Credit must be given to the enormous support of the Israeli government. Tens of thousands of top avreichim from europe and USA are living in the Torah capital of the world in Yerushalayim due to the building of yiddishkeit financed by the treifene medina.
