Ivanka Trump shared the story of her father’s request during a campaign stop yesterday afternoon at the Shul of Bal Harbour in Surfside, reported the Algemeiner.

Ivanka Trump said that her father was supportive and respectful of her decision to convert to Orthodox Judiasm.

“Right before yom tov he would call and say, ‘You better pray hard for me,’” said Ivanka Trump. “I’d say, ‘Yes dad, we will pray hard.’”

Trump made the same request of his son in law, Jared Kushner.

“He covered all his bases,” noted Ivanka Trump, who also said that, if elected, her father would move the United States embassy to Jerusalem and would recognize Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel.

After being honored for his efforts on behalf of US and Israel relations at a 2015 dinner, Trump told the audience of the immense pride he takes in Ivanka and her religious journey.

“I have a Jewish daughter,” said Trump. “It wasn’t in the plan but I’m very glad it happened.”

Any shul that hosts a campaign stop in violation of Federal law risks losing 501C status.

Let’s hope this article is not true.
