I think that in hindsight people will see that he was a very good president that tried hard but, inherited the terrorist problem from the administration that was before him.
Yes, he did make mistakes, but who doesn’t.
I think he did his best.

If this makes any sense at all, I’d say, “Wow! He’s a real lady!” Such class, such passion, such charisma, in the face of so much adversity.

George Bush ends his career, getting no respect even to the very last. As Bush finished his presidency with his last public address, the Associated Press took the latest media dig at the president: “Bush address includes laundry list of back patting.”

The truth of the matter was far different. Although AP says the “text of the speech comes with a laundry list of what Bush says are successes,” the truth is there were successes. Some of them great ones.

Argue all day about the causes or necessity of invading Iraq, but you will be hard-pressed to call it a failure. The same goes for Bush’s post-9/11 record. As the 43rd president put it, there can be “little debate about the results.”

Of course, there will be little media debate. Instead, the anti-Bush media (most of the mainstream press) won’t even give him his due when it’s well-deserved. Ironically, they spent every day since Sept. 11, 2001, protected by a president that they did everything they could to undermine.

Now the media turn to their candidate of choice. It will be interesting to watch how they gloss over every misstep and fawn over every speech of a man they have already likened to a cross between Abraham Lincoln and FDR.

It was a short and sweet, very humble and classy speech. Like him or not, he has always done what he felt was best for us all. I think George W. Bush will go down as a president who had high hopes for many things, some accomplished, some not. But in the end kept us safe.

He had the best interest of the folks at heart. President Bush is a patriot. He tried to do his best. I’m glad he gave a speech tonight. We wish President Bush the best. He’s a patriot, a good man and I hope he continues to contribute to the country.

Cost nothing to make some nice speech. But its you who created the mess and now you try taking credit for doing the rescue. Sorry, I don’t buy that.

More to blame are the american people. We should not have re-elected him back in office.

President Bush was a great President and is a great man. He brought morals back into a filthy White House. He came into a very difficult presidency, and with strength and determination, and principle he led our country through difficult times. May G-d bless him, and our new Pres.-elect. I still would like to see him pardon Pollard, THAT would be a nice way to end his presidency.

I will miss him two. While the hearts of kings and authorities are in the hand of hashem, he was an honest person and kept things clear. He didn’t pander to crooks and cronies around the world and kept his hands clean from touching those of Arafat. His word was a word and we may never have someone who stands in such moral standing as him. He stood up to the anti Israel propoganda and defended Israel’s decisions for 8 years NEVER asking for restraint. He made decisions to defend our nation which a previous president chose to ignore seeng no political benefit.

President Bush we will miss you in just a few days after you leave the white house, even those who believe Obama is the Messiah.

Just listened to his speach, what a mentsh! You can all spout the same shtuss the media has been feeding you – but if you want to be honest with yourself you should admit this man is honest, moral, caring and most importantly does what he beleives is right!!!
Those of you who are critical of him probably preferred the Oisvarf we had before him – the one who left the big fat mess that Bush is blamed for creating.
His predecessor -Monica’s friend- should have dealt with Bin Laden when it was very doable but he as too busy in his office. President Bush entered his first term with evil raining down on us and dealt with it and kept this country free of any more attacks. He was blamed for Katrina which is amazingly ridiculous –
The trouble with this country – the media has trained us to play the blame game.
Blame the victim is one of their favorite games and too many have joined in.
Mr President “we hate to see you go”!!.

I voted for him twice and I will miss him. And of course, right to the end, the liberal media was sneering and condescending — but they just fall all over themselves practically worshipping the empty-suit state legislator whom they have foisted upon us. I’ll tell you one thing you can be sure of — how can you tell if Pompous Charlie, Perky Katie, Brian and of course, Chrissie Softball (who got a tingling thrill up his leg when he heard Obama speak) are lying about something? THEIR LIPS ARE MOVING.

Prior to the President’sd address CBS reported that Eli Lilly has been fined over a billions dollar for false information on their drug Zyprexa. Under Bush the Pharamaceutical Industry had a free reign. CBS reported that they earned the fined in the profit on Zyprexa during the last quarter. Bank of America and many institutions are near bankruptcy that is the legacy of Bush. Better look at the unemployment rate, Jews and frum Jews are also unemployed, he left an economic disaster

The wise 43rd President made the statement and I quote”let them come on” they sure did . The rehabilitation of the physically and mentally maimed soldiers will cost billions of dollars to the tax payer of course he fired General Shinzeki who wisely predicted we will need more troops. Showmanship on an aircraft carrier is not statesmanship
