Jerusalem – Israel’s Supreme Court has given the government a month to explain why it prevents women from praying from a Torah scroll at a key Jewish holy site.

In the court’s ruling Wednesday, it also suggested that an alternative site for women to pray at Jerusalem’s Western Wall was insufficient and ordered that searches of visiting women be halted.
Israel’s government agreed in January to create an equal prayer site after three years of negotiations between Jewish liberal groups, ultra-Orthodox leaders and the government.
But the site was never established, with liberal groups accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of caving to pressure from two ultra-Orthodox parties in his coalition.
The groups accuse the government of violating the right to equality and freedom of worship by not implementing its decision.
Il never give Bibi credit but this might be the first “yiddishe” thing that he did. Caving to his religious zionist MK. At least this! What are they doing in this Kneset Haminim altogether?? Its a sham! At least to keep these screwed up women from wreaking ruchniosdiga havoc by the holy sites. A shande! Only in a “yidisha” medine can women do as they please. Dressed like goitas but want access to our holiest of holy. U can choose religion. Either ur there or nowhere!
Simple.. cause the torah doesnt aloud.
I wonder if the High Court is asking the government why it is preventing Jews to pray on the Temple Mount (regardless if you have an issue or not)?
One thing you can learn from our cousins, if you riot hard enough you are able to get what you want. If the frum world really has an issue with the WoW group, there should be violent protest to protect the kedusha.
Or we can just say, “Leave it to Moshiach…”
To all you religious flaming Zionists zealots who defend these crazy women it is a must to read this article that was posted a long time ago here on VIN:

Those groups are right. As a frum yid you disagree halachically, but that does not win an argument in democracy.
How about allowing Jews to go up to the permitted area of the Temple Mount and pray there?
