Chief of staff Reince Priebus (ryns PREE’-bus) tells CBS’ “Face the Nation” that a “buffet of options” remains. He says that could include a tax on goods coming across the border, import and export taxes — even a tax on drug cartels or fines to people who come to the U.S. illegally.
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto last week canceled a meeting with Trump amid tensions over Trump’s plan to build a wall at Mexico’s expense.
Priebus says it’s early in the planning process. He says the broader point is that Trump is fulfilling a campaign promise to build the wall.
If the Trump regime taxes imports or exports
the Mexican government doesn’t pay for the wall.
The American consumer does!
Don’t be conned by Don!
There is a very simple plan. I don’t know why Trump hasn’t figured it out yet. Legalize all illegal drugs and thereby liable to taxation. You also make the US government the cheapest supplier. You then open government drug stores in the ghettos and barrios and let the junkies end up paying for their own wall, for their food stamps, and for their medicare.
I wonder if the government can sell panels of the wall to be dedicated in memory of dear departed. Yes, lezaicher nishmas. The departed need not have died, just lost their jobs and benefits to illegal immigrants. Chinese auctions?
