Jerusalem – Multiple people were injured after a crane collapsed at a construction site in the Tel Aviv suburb of Bat Yam on Monday afternoon, according to initial reports.

Magen David Adom reported that at least four people were hurt, including one person in serious condition.
Emergency crews evacuated the approximately 35-year-old crane operator in serious condition, a moderately-injured man in his 40s whose car was struck by the crane and two people in light condition, including a man in his 40s and a young girl, to nearby hospitals.
The area has been cordoned off.
