    The Dow Jones Industrial Average < .DJI> rose 64.86 points, or 0.29 percent, to 22,268.34, the S&P 500 < .SPX> gained 4.59 points, or 0.18 percent, to 2,500.21 and the Nasdaq Composite < .IXIC> added 19.38 points, or 0.3 percent, to 6,448.47.
