REUTERS/Joshua Roberts Washington – Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans in the Senate were not being truthful about what their tax plan does and how it would affect Americans, referring to a charge by Republican Senator Bob Corker that Trump routinely told untruths.

    “Unfortunately what the president says about tax reform has been correctly characterized by Senator Corker as ‘untruths.’ And Corker was being kind,” Schumer told reporters. “What the president says and what the Republican plan does are polar opposites.”

    This is one guy who should redirect his energy to other things, as he has done most of his career. The sizes of tissues, the grade of tires on postal service vehicles, the font size in food labels, etc. Really important issues. If his honesty on these matters is less than 100%, it would have zero impact on America. On matters of politics, he is 100% untrustworthy. I wish he would look for another job. I am personally embarrassed that he serves as my senator.
