The decision was made at the recommendation of Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, who is also tasked with combatting boycotts of Israel.

“This is not the first time I am preventing BDS activists from entering the country,” Deri said. “However, this time, it is a delegation of senior Europeans arriving to act against Israel, giving this instance more significance. After reviewing the background and the circumstances, i’ve come to the decision that this delegation has no place in Israel.”

Erdan said his office would continue to bar “those seeking to actively harm the state of Israel.” He said that in making his recommendation to block the delegation from entering Israel, he had taken into account “their request to meet with and to provide support for the mass murderer Marwan Barghouti and to support terror.” Erdan added that the delegation was comprised of “senior politicians who consistently support the boycott of Israel and promote it.”

Barghouti is currently serving five five consecutive life sentences for masterminding several terror attacks during the Second Intifada. He is considered a potential successor to Palestinain Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Correct. Now let’s wait a few minutes for the protests from the Radical left wing Democrats, Schumer, Pelosi, Kerry, and others of the same ilk. Stay tuned on CNN and MSNBC.

This is such a joke. I wonder if France would allow a delegation of visitors to visit and support the worst criminals all while waving a banner that says “Death to France.” But of course, Europe is just ever so enlightened when it comes to preaching to others…
