Putin’s statement Wednesday came at a meeting with workers of the GAZ factory in Nizny Novgorod. Several hours earlier, he was asked about his intentions in Moscow and signaled that he would run but stopped short of declaring his bid.

With his approval ratings topping 80 percent, Putin is certain to win a quick victory in the March 18 vote.

Addressing the automobile factory workers, Putin said he couldn’t find a better place and a better moment to announce his candidacy.

Putin has effectively been in power in Russia since 2000.

this man is a true leader, one who doesn’t have the likes of Schumer constantly stopping him from doing what needs to get done, he also made a law that prohibits the promotion of homosexuality an evil sin.

Putin would win even if no one in Russia voted for him, he says he will be still leading Russia and that is the answer who the next leader will be, and the rest of the government says yes sir. There will be all this election process to show there was an election process, but that is for the world, not Russia.

No matter how much this short dictator tries to present himself as a statesman, he’ll always be known as a former KGB thug who wants to bring back the Russian empire.
