Bullitt County Sheriff Donnie Tinnell says Rep. Dan Johnson shot himself Wednesday on a bridge in Mount Washington, Kentucky. Tinnell confirmed the death to WDRB-TV in Louisville.

The 57-year-old Johnson was elected to the state legislature in 2016. On Monday, the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting published an account from a woman saying Johnson sexually assaulted her in the basement of his home in 2013. Louisville police investigated the matter but closed the case and did not file charges.

Johnson told reporters Tuesday the accusations were “totally false.” He posted a message on Facebook Monday night saying that PTSD was “is a sickness that will take my life, I cannot handle it any longer. It has won this life, BUT HEAVEN IS MY HOME.”

Police found him innocent but the relentless nonsense drove him off a cliff. We must stop the madness

This was the guy who claimed to have established and run his own private morgue at the World Trade Center site. He did not. He seems to have suffered from mental health issues.

This madness has to stop, and the presumption of innocence must be reasserted.

BTW, the “Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting” that started the witchhunt states the following about their founding on their website: “The initiative is the creation of Louisville Public Media, a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation that operates three public radio stations, including 89.3 WFPL News, a full-time NPR affiliate.”

So, they were created by NPR, a leftist taxpayer-supported media company, in order to hound conservatives… That’s the left’s new line of attack.

The only solution is to join the growing number of Americans who tune out the Fake Media.

Another filthy phony GOP family values guy. No one commits suicide if they are innocent. Alt-yidden need to stop kvetching that every thing they don’t like is ‘fake news’ or a leftist ‘conspiracy’. Try using brain and not childish cliches.

Obviously, the man had a lot of personal angst, but I wonder how his accuser feels, knowing she is partly responsible for his death. On second thoughts, she’s probably too busy counting the money she got for accusing him.

    This has to stop now.
